Based in Edmonsham, Wimborne in Dorset - Bethany is the multi award winning founder of Bonny Dog Behaviour.

 

Bethany covers Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Surrey, South West London and surrounding areas.

 

Bethany is in the final months of her Canine Behaviour BSc at Bishop Burton and holds an FdSc in Animal Behaviour from Kingston University. Bethany is also accredited by of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), The Pet Professional Guild, The Pet Professional Network and International Companion Animal Network (ICAN) and has completed a years mentorship with Steve Mann (Founder of The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and Dave Brice (Head Tutor and Behaviourist of The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and Behaviourists). Bethany is also studying The Aggression in Dogs Master Course with Michael Shikashio as well as training to become an Expert Witness in Dangerous Dog cases.

 

Having worked professionally with dogs for over 10 years, Bethany has a wealth of experience with dogs who have challenging behaviour. Predominantly working with rescue dogs to ensure safe re-homing. Bethany worked at Battersea Dogs Home leading a care team in the assessment and rehabilitation of dogs, including those coming through with bite histories.

Bethany is a legal expert witness in dangerous dog cases. She is accredited with Bond Solon (Cardiff University) and is on the UK Register of Experts. She provides assessments and reports, alongside appearing in court giving independent expert opinion.

Further to this, Bethany has completed training in Canine Resistance Training and is in the process of setting up a GRC dog sports club in Dorset. 

 

Bethany has also worked with service dogs, including work experience with the Metropolitan Police. She has also been a guest speaker for seminars as well as having received referrals from vets across the country. Bethany has also been hand picked to be the ambassador for The Pet Professional Network as a result of her outstanding work within the pet industry - providing support for those within the industry as well as pet owners themselves.

 

Bethany prides herself in her specialism of Bull Breeds, aggressive behaviour and rescue dogs. Bethany also owns Bull Breed Club - the revolutionary app for Bull Breed owners, with an ever growing Facebook group and breed specific training and behaviour modification advice.

 

Bethany only trains using kind and effective methods using whatever your dog finds rewarding.
